Hello everyone,
We would like to let everyone know that we have secured the funding needed to continue the fulfillment of Fray. Units will be shipped out starting next week. Considering there are still hundreds of units to ship it may take us a little while to get them all out. Thank you for your unending patience and we apologize this campaign went so off the rails.
International shipping is presenting a few challenges and we are working on finding efficient partners to complete those orders. We will keep those backers updated as we know more.
We are excited and relieved to finally be able to deliver on our promise to get these games in your hands.

Monthly Update

We know this is a few days late but for our February update, we wanted to confirm another shipment of games has gone out. As of now there stands about 600 games still left to ship. We will be shipping more this month. We’ll post another update at the end of the month to confirm.
If you have received the game already, we encourage you to let us know and please post your impressions!

A new update

It’s been a while since our last update. Our team is small and we had some personal challenges the past few months, but that’s no excuse. We will endeavor to do monthly updates from this point on until all of the units are delivered. We are truly sorry that this project has stalled and we understand the frustration of everyone waiting patiently. We are still committed to delivering the project and that commitment won’t change.
In December we began shipping the game in small batches. A few dozen of you already have the game, and we hope you’re enjoying it even after this long wait. We will be shipping units every month, and when you receive the game we’d appreciate some feedback. If you’re among the many still waiting, we appreciate your unending patience.
We plan to do another update towards the end of February, with hopes we can increase the amount of units we ship each month.

Update On Shipping

Hey everybody, we wanted to update everyone on the current status of fullfilment.
Many of you have been asking for an update on shipping. In the last update we mentioned that the project had run substantially over budget, after we paid out all of the services to the printer and the many talented individuals involved in making Fray. We didn’t have the funds to ship all of the games in April as we hoped but we were working on ways to fund this project to the finish line.
In order to pay for the full cost of fulfillment we decided to liquidate one of our own personal assets to provide the funding we need. We, at the time the games were delivered to us, had expected that process to take a matter of weeks, but unfortunately it is now taking a matter of months.
Some of the games have been delivered. Several backers lived in our local area and we were able to arrange an in-person pick up. If any of you reading this have the game in hand, please feel free to send us your comments. As for the bulk of backers still waiting on shipping, we are hoping the funds will finally be secured by the end of August. Considering the many times we’ve been disappointed ourselves in the progress of this fulfillment, we can’t make any promises. The only promise can make is that we WILL have the funds available to us at some point soon and once that happens we will feverishly get these games out of our garage and into your hands.
We’re sorry that this isn’t better news or that we can’t provide a concrete timeline. We will keep you updated as soon as we have something to share.

Shipping to begin!!

It’s been a long, and at times, painful road but Fray has finally landed! Only one step left, and that’s shipping it out to all of you!
After Fray landed at the port we had some problems coordinating delivery and we incurred additional storage charges while we waited to actually receive the games. We had originally intended to warehouse the games at a facility that would then ship the games out based on the manifest from the pledge manager. Unfortunately, the project has run so far over budget that we were forced to have the games delivered to our house, where we are storing the games in our garage. We will begin to ship the games out by hand very soon.
The first shipments will go out in April. In order to finish the fulfillment we will have to pay for all direct shipping out of our own pockets and, as you can imagine, cash flow will slow the process down. Because of this some backers may receive their games before others but all backers will receive the game as soon as possible. We understand that after such a long wait not receiving the game immediately may be frustrating but rest assured we are doing everything we can to get the games out ASAP and everyone will receive their game in short order.
Thank you for all of your support and your endless patience. We hope you enjoy the game and we can’t wait to get your feedback once it’s in your hands!
